It's also important to know that there are different ways of decorating cake like regular cake icing or frosting, buttercream and of course fondant. People take easy decorating with fondant You don't see cakes with icing and buttercream in bakeries anymore. To see cakes with classic icing and buttercream has a nostalgic vibe and skillful cake artistry. My mom still decorated the cake the old fashioned way. You can see love and wonderful hard work in it.
